Heart Attack 18 Months on

It was the 29th March 2009 when I had my fast ride to Vichy, France for my "stent" to be inserted. It took 45 minutes and I seemed to be hanging in all right for the ride.

Now I am under the supervision of my cardiologist in Nyon, Switzerland as this is where I am officially a resident.

We did reduce my medication by dropping the Plavix in the spring of this year, but in Early September I suffered a "mini stroke". This was diagnosed through a brain scan carried out in Cleremont-Ferand hospital.

My cardiologist the put me back on the Plavix as removing it may have contributed to this last event. The next step in my treatment is to have some tests done to determine if I need both Plavix and the Asprine Cardio. I will let you know when this test has been done.

Overall I feel very well (except for a bad throat this week), as well physically as I have been for many years. Hope you are doing well too.
